Dr. Edwin DeJesus - Chair of the BOD

Dr. Edwin DeJesus serves on the Board of Directors with over 25 years of leadership in infectious disease care, clinical research, and public health advocacy. He is the Medical Director of the Orlando Immunology Center (OIC) and a board-certified Infectious Disease specialist. He is also certified as an HIV Specialist by the American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM).


Dr. DeJesus received his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease fellowship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Along with Dr. Rolle, he leads OIC’s robust clinical research program as Principal Investigator, conducting Phase I–IV trials focused on HIV, hepatitis, and sexually transmitted infections, including pioneering work in vaccine and cure studies. His contributions to COVID-19 research in collaboration with the NIH further underscore his national influence.


With over 100 published research papers and numerous international presentations, Dr. DeJesus is widely regarded as an expert and educator. He also serves as an assistant professor at UCF College of Medicine, and remains deeply engaged in community outreach—founding Orlando’s first PrEP clinic and launching free HIV testing programs.


Honored as one of Orlando’s Top Doctors and a leading Hispanic voice in healthcare, Dr. DeJesus continues to shape the future of infectious disease care with excellence, vision, and compassion.


Dr. Federico Hinestrosa - Vice Chair BOD

Dr. Federico Hinestrosa has served as Vice Chair of the Board since the organization's founding in January 2025, bringing nearly two decades of clinical excellence, research leadership, and compassionate care to the mission of expanding access to healthcare in the Orlando community.


A native of Medellín, Colombia, Dr. Hinestrosa earned his medical degree from Universidad CES in 1997. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania and an Infectious Disease Fellowship at Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He is board-certified in both internal medicine and infectious diseases, and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is also a certified HIV Specialist through the American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM).


Since joining the Orlando Immunology Center (OIC) in 2009, Dr. Hinestrosa has been a leading voice in HIV, hepatitis, and STD care. Appointed Associate Medical Director in 2017, he continues to serve as the Director of the Medical Clinic, while also contributing as a principal and sub-investigator in numerous clinical trials. He is an active member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, HIV Medicine Association, and American Academy of HIV Medicine.


Dr. Hinestrosa is widely respected for his expertise, empathy, and enduring commitment to improving patient outcomes through both clinical care and medical research.


Samuel Fredrick Ewing - Chair of Governance

Sam joined the Board of Directors in January 2025, bringing with him a legacy of leadership, philanthropy, and community engagement that spans more than five decades. As Governance Chair, Sam offers thoughtful guidance rooted in integrity, experience, and a deep commitment to ethical stewardship.


A highly respected figure in Central Florida and beyond, Sam is best known as the founder and owner of Ewing Noble & Winn Interiors, an award-winning design firm established in 1972. His work—renowned for its sophistication, creativity, and personalized approach—has been featured in numerous national publications.


Sam's dedication to service is equally distinguished. He currently serves on the Board of the James W. and Frances G. McGlothlin Foundation, supporting philanthropic initiatives that benefit education, the arts, and underserved communities. He has also held board positions with the Crummer School at Rollins College and the Orlando Museum of Art, and spent nearly 20 years on the Board of the Hope & Help Center, advocating for HIV services and community wellness.


Universally regarded for his kindness, humility, and altruistic spirit, Sam brings not only expertise but heart to every endeavor. His presence on the board reflects a lifelong commitment to making a meaningful, lasting impact.


Terry Lynn Wilder - Chair of Finances

Terry joined the Board of Directors in June 2025 following his retirement from a distinguished career as a Nurse Practitioner at the Orlando Immunology Center (OIC), where he served for nearly two decades. Widely respected for his clinical expertise and deeply compassionate care, Terry remains beloved by patients and colleagues alike for his unwavering commitment to holistic and evidence-based treatment.


Terry earned his Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) degree from the University of South Florida in 1998, where he also developed an innovative educational intervention for HIV-infected and affected adolescents. Throughout his career, he has been a strong advocate for education, teaching and precepting other healthcare professionals across Florida on HIV, Hepatitis, STDs, and Primary Care.


Before his time at OIC, Terry spent nine years at Tampa General Healthcare's Hillsborough County Clinic, where he held several leadership roles, including serving as a preceptor for infectious disease fellows and nursing students. At OIC, he played a pivotal role in developing comprehensive medical evaluations for people living with HIV and contributed to clinical research as a sub-investigator.


Terry is a certified HIV Specialist through the American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM). His decades of service and advocacy continue to inform and inspire his work as a dedicated board member.


Scott Edward Rogers - Chair of Human Resources

Scott joined the Board of Directors in January 2025, bringing with him a wealth of experience in corporate leadership, governance, and stakeholder collaboration. A longtime Central Florida resident, Scott served for 27 years at Walt Disney World Resort, where he held the role of Insurance and Risk Manager. In that capacity, he led cross-functional initiatives to drive loss prevention and safety across the largest resort and theme park operation in the United States.


Scott holds a Bachelor's degree in Business and Marketing from the University of North Florida and an MBA from Webster University. While an undergraduate, he served as Student Body President and Vice President, gaining a strong foundation in parliamentary procedures and leadership within governing bodies.


His prior board service includes acting as Secretary and Treasurer for the Ocean Oaks Condominium Association (2016–2017), where he was known for his financial stewardship and collaborative approach. Peers and friends widely recognize Scott as kind, principled, and committed to service.


With a strategic mindset and a compassionate heart, Scott brings valuable insights and a steady hand to the board, supporting the organization's mission to expand access to care and build a stronger, healthier community.


Christopher John Totten - Chair of Operations

Christopher joined the Board of Directors in January 2025. He brings a wealth of experience in healthcare, government contracting, and clinical research to his role as a board member. Currently serving as a sales representative for a private healthcare company, Christopher has spent his career navigating the intersections of medical sales, disease management, operating room protocol, and healthcare IT systems. His deep understanding of administrative sales, product development, and institutional negotiations makes him a strategic and forward-thinking contributor to the board.


With a background that includes work on government-funded programs and clinical trials, Christopher offers valuable insight into both public and private healthcare sectors. His leadership style is marked by professionalism, dedication, and a motivating presence that uplifts his colleagues and peers.


Widely respected for his compassion, integrity, and collaborative spirit, Christopher approaches every task with genuine commitment and enthusiasm. His experience with C-level negotiations and his ability to bridge clinical and administrative priorities uniquely position him to support the organization’s mission of expanding equitable access to care.


Christopher is honored to serve on the Board of Directors and looks forward to contributing meaningfully to the organization’s continued growth and impact in the community.


Dr. Charlotte Rolle - Member At Large

Dr. Rolle brings an exceptional breadth of experience in research, clinical care, and global health to the Board of Directors. Currently serving as Director of Research Operations at the Orlando Immunology Center, she is recognized as a national leader in HIV and STI research and prevention.


A graduate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, Dr. Rolle also holds a Master’s in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health. She completed her Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Emory University in Atlanta and is certified as an HIV Specialist through the American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM).


Dr. Rolle’s passion for serving people living with HIV began in high school while volunteering at a homeless shelter, and has since evolved into a career rooted in advocacy, education, and innovation. She has developed HIV and STI prevention programs for youth and women, and conducted research on topics ranging from HIV testing laws to PrEP, with multiple peer-reviewed publications.


Her clinical work has spanned Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, Haiti, and Rwanda, giving her a rare global perspective on healthcare delivery. Her dedication and expertise ensure that Central Florida remains at the forefront of infectious disease prevention and care.


Richard Lamberty - At Large Board Member

Richard was introduced to the BOD on June 1st, 2025. He brings a distinguished background in technology, education, and community advocacy. As a retired software designer, Richard helped create foundational systems that transformed industries, including the first "click to buy" platform, early video conferencing tools, and the satellite control system for NASA, which earned him a Congressional Award for Software Excellence.


Beyond his professional achievements, Richard is a world champion ballroom dancer and a pioneering leader in same-sex dance. He is the founding president of multiple LGBTQ+ dance organizations and the founder of April Follies, North America's first same-sex dance competition. The lifetime achievement award for queer dance is named in his honor. Since 2010, he has been an active member of the Orlando Gay Chorus, using the arts as a platform to champion equity, inclusion, and authenticity.


Richard is a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ health and has mentored students at UCF and Stetson on navigating topics such as sexual health, identity, and personal empowerment. He promotes informed decision-making around PrEP, Doxy-PEP, and U=U, and supports creating spaces for safe and open dialogue.


Richard's multifaceted experience and unwavering dedication to community wellness make him a powerful asset to OIC Inspired's mission.


Maunieca Martin - At Large Board Membe

Maunieca (Mo-nee-sha) was introduced to the board on June 1st, 2025. She is a dedicated advocate, spiritual leader, and compassionate caregiver whose life's work centers on service, healing, and empowerment. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, she holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from Luther Rice Seminary School, where she began her ministry journey with a deep commitment to faith and community.


Maunieca is a former Case Manager for people living with HIV/AIDS, she has supported countless families navigating complex medical and social challenges. Her work reflects a steadfast dedication to both physical and emotional well-being, especially among vulnerable populations.


Maunieca is also the founder and owner of Neat Butterfly Inc., a mentorship initiative that uplifts teenage girls by fostering confidence, purpose, and positive identity. She brings this same nurturing spirit to her role as a mother of three and a proud grandmother, while also caring full-time for her aging parents in Central Florida.


Inspired by her faith, Maunieca leads prayer groups and uses social media to encourage and connect with others. Her unwavering belief in the power of kindness, guidance, and spiritual resilience continues to inspire and uplift lives and communities. As a board member, she brings wisdom, heart, and a deeply rooted commitment to serving others.
