A highly respected figure in Central Florida and beyond, Sam is best known as the founder and owner of Ewing Noble & Winn Interiors, an award-winning design firm established in 1972. His work—renowned for its sophistication, creativity, and personalized approach—has been featured in numerous national publications.

Sam’s dedication to service is equally distinguished. He currently serves on the Board of the James W. and Frances G. McGlothlin Foundation, supporting philanthropic initiatives that benefit education, the arts, and underserved communities. He has also held board positions with the Crummer School at Rollins College and the Orlando Museum of Art, and spent nearly 20 years on the Board of the Hope & Help Center, advocating for HIV services and community wellness.

Scott joined the Board of Directors in January 2025, bringing with him a wealth of experience in corporate leadership, governance, and stakeholder collaboration. A longtime Central Florida resident, Scott served for 27 years at Walt Disney World Resort, where he held the role of Insurance and Risk Manager. In that capacity, he led cross-functional initiatives to drive loss prevention and safety across the largest resort and theme park operation in the United States.

Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing from the University of North Florida and an MBA from Webster University. While an undergraduate, he served as Student Body President and Vice President, gaining a strong foundation in parliamentary procedures and leadership within governing bodies.

His prior board service includes acting as Secretary and Treasurer for the Ocean Oaks Condominium Association (2016–2017), where he was known for his financial stewardship and collaborative approach. Peers and friends widely recognize Scott as kind, principled, and committed to service.

Richard was introduced to the BOD on June 1st, 2025. He brings a distinguished background in technology, education, and community advocacy. As a retired software designer, Richard helped create foundational systems that transformed industries, including the first “click to buy” platform, early video conferencing tools, and the satellite control system for NASA, which earned him a Congressional Award for Software Excellence.

Beyond his professional achievements, Richard is a world champion ballroom dancer and a pioneering leader in same-sex dance. He is the founding president of multiple LGBTQ+ dance organizations and the founder of April Follies, North America’s first same-sex dance competition. The lifetime achievement award for queer dance is named in his honor. Since 2010, he has been an active member of the Orlando Gay Chorus, using the arts as a platform to champion equity, inclusion, and authenticity.

Richard is a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ health and has mentored students at UCF and Stetson on navigating topics such as sexual health, identity, and personal empowerment. He promotes informed decision-making around PrEP, Doxy-PEP, and U=U, and supports creating spaces for safe and open dialogue.

She is a dedicated advocate, spiritual leader, and compassionate caregiver whose life’s work centers on service, healing, and empowerment. Maunieca is a former Case Manager for people living with HIV/AIDS, she has supported countless families navigating complex medical and social challenges. Her work reflects a steadfast dedication to both physical and emotional well-being, especially among vulnerable populations.

Maunieca is also the founder and owner of Neat Butterfly Inc., a mentorship initiative that uplifts teenage girls by fostering confidence, purpose, and positive identity. She brings this same nurturing spirit to her role as a mother of three and a proud grandmother, while also caring full-time for her aging parents in Central Florida.

Inspired by her faith, Maunieca leads prayer groups and uses social media to encourage and connect with others. Her unwavering belief in the power of kindness, guidance, and spiritual resilience continues to inspire and uplift lives and communities. Dr. Edwin DeJesus, MD, FACP, FIDSA is the Medical Director of the OIC Inspired. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Medicine, and completed his Internal Medicine training and Infectious Disease fellowship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. DeJesus is board-certified in Infectious Diseases and holds certification as an HIV Specialist through the American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM).

With over 25 years of experience, Dr. DeJesus has dedicated his career to caring for HIV and hepatitis infected patients. He serves as the Principal Investigator for the OIC research department, leading Phase I-IV clinical trials focused on improving prevention, management, and treatment of infectious conditions including, HIV vaccines and cure studies. Recently, Dr. DeJesus has played an active role with the NIH in Covid-19 vaccines and treatment.

Dr. DeJesus has amassed an impressive bibliography of over 100 recent publications related to his research. He is highly regarded in the medical community and has presented his research findings at numerous international conferences, including the IAS, ICCAC, CROI, amongst many others. As a respected public educator, he has been a guest speaker at various medical conferences and institutions, sharing his expertise on HIV, hepatitis, and infectious diseases.

Beyond his clinical and research work, he is an assistant professor at the University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Medicine. Dr. DeJesus is deeply committed to his patients and community. He has initiated free HIV testing programs, opened the first PrEP clinic in Orlando, maintains strong relationships with Central Florida non-profit organizations, and has contributed medical columns to local publications.

Dr. DeJesus’s contributions to the medical field and dedication to patient care have earned him numerous accolades and recognition. He has been featured as one of Orlando’s Top Doctors by Orlando Magazine for the past ten years and was named one of the 25 most influential Hispanic individuals in Central Florida by the Hispanic Chambers of Commerce.

With his expertise, research endeavors, and commitment to community outreach, Dr. Edwin DeJesus continues to make a significant impact in the field of infectious diseases, comprehensive healthcare for the sexually active adult, and the lives of his patients.

Dr. Hinestrosa is Board-certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Hinestrosa became a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Before joining the OIC Inspired in 2009, Dr. Hinestrosa was an HIV/AIDS Primary Care Consultant at Andromeda Transcultural Health in Washington, DC.

Dr. Hinestrosa was named the Associate Medical Director of OIC in 2017. Besides his clinical duties at OIC, he also plays investigatory roles on the OIC Inspired’s HCV and HIV clinical trials. Dr. Hinestrosa is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, HIV Medicine Association, and American Academy of HIV Medicine. He has contributed original articles to the medical literature, and has presented abstracts at professional society annual meetings, including the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases and European Association for the Study of the Liver.

Dr. Rolle is the Director of Research Operations at OIC Inspired. Dr. Rolle’s passion for helping those with HIV began in high school when she volunteered at a homeless shelter for people living with HIV. She continued her advocacy in college and developed HIV and STI education and prevention programs for youth and women.

She has treated patients in Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, Haiti, and Rwanda giving her a global perspective on HIV treatment and care. We are thrilled that Dr. Rolle will bring this wealth of research and patient care experience to Central Florida and will ensure that OIC remains the at the forefront for the prevention, evaluation and treatment of all STIs and Hepatitis in Central Florida.

Terry joined the Board of Directors in June 2025 following his retirement from a distinguished career as a Nurse Practitioner at the Orlando Immunology Center (OIC), where he served for nearly two decades. Widely respected for his clinical expertise and deeply compassionate care, Terry remains beloved by patients and colleagues alike for his unwavering commitment to holistic and evidence-based treatment.

Terry earned his Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) degree from the University of South Florida in 1998, where he also developed an innovative educational intervention for HIV-infected and affected adolescents. Throughout his career, he has been a strong advocate for education, teaching and precepting other healthcare professionals across Florida on HIV, Hepatitis, STDs, and Primary Care.

Before his time at OIC, Terry spent nine years at Tampa General Healthcare’s Hillsborough County Clinic, where he held several leadership roles, including serving as a preceptor for infectious disease fellows and nursing students. At OIC, he played a pivotal role in developing comprehensive medical evaluations for people living with HIV and contributed to clinical research as a sub-investigator.

Terry is a certified HIV Specialist through the American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM). His decades of service and advocacy continue to inform and inspire his work as a dedicated board member.
